Features and Advantages:
GLE-SE solar heater products deliver the most productive solar collection. High efficiency high mass evacuated solar collector, direct heat thermal containment structure, and large effective solar collection area are the three key factors to provide faster and more efficient heating of the water in the system.
Direct-Heat Thermal Containment:
As the sunlight passes through the outer tube, solar collection coating material transfers the radiation energy into heat energy with more than 90% efficiency. With the evacuated space and the reflecting inner surface coating material, a high level of thermal containment is achieved. The heat energy is contained inside the collector’s inner space, and directly heats up the water stored in the stainless steel tank that is located inside each of the collector tubes. With the largest diameter of the glass evacuated tube, this product provides the highest level of available collection area of any solar thermal product on the market, as shown in Figure 1.

Longer Sunlight Absorption:
GLE-SE solar water heater system design allows the products to be installed vertically as a stationary unit. When it is installed toward to the East and West, this vertical installation has the solar absorption across both sides of the unit, which offers up to 12 hours solar energy absorption. With the existing solar heat panels, roof installation facing the south offers only 6-7 hours energy absorption daily, as it is shown in Figure 2.

Architecturally Elegant Solutions:
GLE solar water heater products can be installed as a fence or an area barrier in a swimming pool environment, or as a handrail for a patio, porch or deck. Furthermore, incorporating the units into existing structures provides low visual impact.
